Our church’s leaders are guiding us back to masking during worship to protect against the spike of the highly contagious Delta variant. The outbreak is expected to peak over the next 5 weeks and then recede, so this masking is not forever, but is a practical thing we can do to fight the disease and keep one another safe. Our neighboring churches have made this decision as well.
In-person worship is important and will continue, and communion with priest intinction will continue. Coffee hour will continue, and we’ll use our outdoor space as much as possible. We’ll have masks available for anyone who needs one, and our senior warden (whose other vocation is as a doctor!) will be on hand to answer questions about the vaccine.
