Annually, the downtown churches of Paris work together to provide a week of events at noon to help the community observe Holy Week. Each church takes its turn at providing a light lunch and a devotional presentation.
The schedule this year for these noon gatherings is:
Monday: First Baptist
Tuesday: Quinn Chapel
Wednesday: First Presbyterian
Thursday: Grace Episcopal (that’s us, and our Bishop Phoebe Roaf will be speaking!)
Friday: First Christian
Easter Sunday there is a community sunrise service on the lawn at First Methodist.
